HVAC for ADUs, SB 9 projects, and new construction

Code-compliant heating, cooling, and ventilation, scheduled around your build. You get a load calc, a written proposal, and dates you can plan around.

What we handle

  • Load calculations and system design

Room-by-room load calculations and equipment selection sized for the actual unit, not a rule of thumb. Small, efficient ADUs are easy to oversize.

  • Title 24 coordination

Equipment specs and duct design to your Title 24 energy consultant, and scheduling of required HERS verifications so final inspection isn't held up.

  • Heat pumps, mini-splits, and ventilation

Ducted and ductless heat pumps, compact air handlers, and the whole-house mechanical ventilation California's energy code requires in new dwelling units.

  • Scheduled around your build

Rough-in timed to framing and inspections, and trim-out timed to finishes. Dates confirmed in writing, and you hear from us right away if anything changes.

  • Electrical capacity planning

Early input on the HVAC load so your electrician can plan panel capacity, especially for ADUs that share service with the main house.

  • Clean closeout

Start-up, commissioning checks, equipment registration, and the documentation your inspector and the owner need.

How a project runs

  1. Send plans or a description: address, unit type, square footage, and where the project stands.

  2. We run the load calculation and send a written proposal with equipment specs for your Title 24 report.

  3. We schedule rough-in to fit your framing and inspection dates.

  4. Trim-out, start-up, and commissioning once finishes are in.

  5. HERS verification and final documentation for inspection and the owner.
