What it is
A ductless mini-split is a heat pump that delivers heating and cooling directly to a room through a wall, ceiling, or floor-mounted indoor unit. One outdoor unit can serve one room or several.
Mini-splits are a good fit for older homes without ductwork, ADUs and garage conversions, additions, and rooms the main system never reaches. Each indoor unit has its own control, so you only condition the spaces you use.
